What is the perfect Rom-Com for every zodiac sign?

Aries

March 21 - April 19

Even fiery Aries natives sometimes need to watch something soppy, and this Valentine’s day is the perfect occasion. Relax, grab a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy the ride. Your rom-com this year is The Wedding Planner (2001) and even though it’s just 5.3/10 on IMDb, it’s worth your time and attention.

The main heroine of the movie, Mary, played by Jennifer Lopez, is passionate about her career just like any Aries native. She takes it so seriously that she sometimes neglects her love life but, of course, after being saved by Matthew McConaughey, she discovers that there’s more in life than just work.

Taurus

April 20 - May 20

Taurean, as an earthy sign, you just love simple pleasures: like watching a fun movie with a cup of hot chocolate or wine. Such cozy evenings are one of your favorite things in the world, that’s why you’re probably planning to spend Valentine’s Day with hot drinks, a rom-com, and maybe your SO.

Easy A is the perfect movie for you to watch on Valentine’s Day. Just like the main heroine of the film, Taurus natives are reliable and trustworthy when friends need them. You’re ambitious in life and love, so you will surely enjoy this movie and love its main character. Watch the flick to see how Olive embraces the ways of the Taurus!

Gemini

May 21 - June 20

Some Gemini natives may be a bit too intelligent to enjoy rom-coms with their cheesiness but sometimes it’s necessary to relax and watch something dumb and funny. Your perfect movie this year is She’s The Man (2006) that truly brings the Gemini energy to the soppy, magical world of romantic comedies.

Posing as her brother, Amanda, the main heroine of the story, takes his place to play soccer and then suddenly falls in love (what did you expect? It’s a rom-com!) with her roommate, played by Channing Tatum. This tests her ability to adapt and urges her to use her humor and intelligence – truly Gemini qualities!

Cancer

June 21 - July 22

Crabs in love are spontaneous, emotional, empathetic, and charming – just like the main heroine of Bridget Jones. You are equally ready to have a party with your friends and to stay at home eating tons of ice cream while watching TV. The heroine’s sensitive and kind nature may remind you of yourself.

After some drama, Bridget falls in love with someone – and her love is kind of Crab-ish in nature. If you’re not a fan of such comedies, try watching (or re-watching) Definitely, Maybe (2008) with Ryan Reynolds – this romantic comedy-drama is about a man who tells the story of his past relationship and is really Cancer-esque in tone!

Leo

July 23 - August 22

Once Leos fall in love, they become stubbornly loyal, extremely forward, brutally honest, and do anything to protect their significant other. They shower them with their royal attention and want the same in return. If Leo is in love with someone, they’re for a wild ride. Only Leos can love someone THIS much.

A perfect rom-com for Leo

Watch When in Rome if you want to see what happens when you steal coins from a love fountain. This simple and funny love story will teach you some important lessons (in a light-hearted rom-com-ish way, of course), boost your Leo energy, and remind you that sometimes it’s needed to think about love optimistically.

Virgo

August 23 - September 22

It’s rare for practicality to appear in rom-coms, but this Virgo-esque trait is hard to miss in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. This movie is unusual for its genre: teen-focused, it creates a passionate love story using such surprising components as analytical mind, intelligence, and ability to plan beforehand.

In this movie, the main heroine agrees to date Noah Centineo’s character to make his girlfriend jealous – but in order to protect her heart from being broken, she prepares a contract. Of course, the contract doesn’t really help and the characters eventually start feeling something for each other…

Libra

September 23 - October 23

Libras are the sweethearts of the Zodiac – they care about others and always put other people’s needs first. They are social butterflies who are extremely nice to be around. They’re genuine, kind, honest, and so on, and so forth – just like the main character of Hitch (2005), played by Will Smith.

A perfect rom-com for Libra

One of the most well-balanced, easy-going, and calm Zodiac signs, Libras may enjoy the main character’s attitude – he’s quintessentially Libra-esque (is this even a word?). His approach is charmingly laid-back no matter what he’s doing – he even keeps it when he (of course) eventually falls in love!

Scorpio

October 24 - November

Scorpio natives tend to have a low tolerance for all sorts of rubbish, that’s why How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days is the perfect flick for them. It asks important questions about love and about men – is love a real deal, are men even worth your attention, and so on. Nothing too profound, but that’s a rom-com, after all.

In this movie, two contradicting agendas meet spectacularly: the main character bets she can lose a guy in ten days, and the other main character bets he can make a woman fall in love with him in… yes, ten days. They proceed to toss rom-com cliches around, ask important questions, and be somewhat silly – all in the style of Scorpios.

Sagittarius

November 23 - December 21

Let’s admit it: Sagittarians tend to be somewhat impatient. They hate waiting, just like the main character of Sweet Home Alabama (2002), played by the stunning Reese Witherspoon. Melanie Smooter, the main heroine of the movie, is undeniably and charmingly Sagittarian in almost everything she does.

A perfect rom-com for Sagittarius

The movie tells you about a big city girl who comes back to her hometown in Alabama to demand a divorce from her ex – but eventually, she finds out that her feelings are still alive and well. Sagittarius natives will surely relate to Melanie’s attitudes and approve of her ways of overcoming difficulties.

Capricorn

December 22 - January 19

Capricorn in love is a rare species that is almost impossible to run into in the wild. Caps just don’t like the feeling of not being in control – and falling in love is usually all about losing control of your situation and yourself. That’s really un-capricorny. 10 Things I Hate About You suits them perfectly.

This rom-com is something every cynical Cap will love: the main character, Kat, can be seen as pessimistic and unemotional – these characteristics work as a shell that protects Capricorn’s delicate heart from intruders. But the movie also tells you that love can be fun – just let your guard down.

Aquarius

January 20 - February 19

Aquarius natives value privacy more than anything else, that’s why they will surely relate to Jane, the main character of 27 Dresses (2008). She will do anything for her friends (another Aquarius-like feature) – even if her friends ask her to show up for the wedding in an ugly bridesmaid’s dress.

A perfect rom-com for Aquarius

Any Aquarian will enjoy the way the movie portrays a sibling rivalry and smile looking at how the main heroine learns to open up her soul to people and love. With lots of kisses, flirt, and amusing situations, the movie is charmingly lighthearted and fun to watch – perfect for Aquarius natives on Valentine’s day!

Pisces

February 20 - March 20

Pisceans just love daydreaming, so their perfect movie must help them hide from scary reality and build beautiful pink castles in the sky. The Princess Bride (1987) is totally Piscean in tone. Weirdly named characters, pirates, giant rats, this movie builds a whole world of love and fairy tales.

Any Pisces native is guaranteed to fall in love with this flick’s easy-to-follow love storyline. Its plot is simple (he must find her and save her after a long separation), but it’s perfect for a quiet and comfy Valentine’s evening. So, get comfortable on your couch, grab a cup of hot cocoa, and enjoy the magical world of this cute movie!
