Hi! I'm Steph

• I'm a writer and editor from England, currently studying and primarily focussing on freelance writing.
• I have been freelancing for over a year now, but also produce my own work and aim eventually to publish my own work, but that feels like a work in progress.
• I like history, ancient and modern, and a lot of my writing revolves around historical concepts.
• I live in London at the moment, which is a great place to source inspiration and learn about the world - however turbulent that can be. I find to engage with so many different cultures and historical ties at once can be so fascinating. In the city I enjoy long cycles and walks to explore new places, landmarks and bookshops and restaurants. Originally I am from the Kent countryside, and while it is different from the city in so many ways, it is also overwhelmingly peaceful. This summer I am trying to split my time between the two places.
• As well as this, I am a big reader (which goes hand in hand with writing, right?) and hugely enjoy genealogy, I even have my family history mapped back to the 14th century. I listen to a lot of music, from classic rock to hip-hop and everything in between, and have a deep appreciation for art (one of my flatmates is an artist). My writing reflects many of these interests.
